Daan Rotterdam is a secondment party with expertise in communication, education, healthcare, social domain, spatial domain and housing associations. With nine offices in the Netherlands, Daan is known for its commitment to both its staff and the companies they work with. In addition to their professional commitment, Daan regularly organises its own events, including the Daan Festivals, which take place about six times a year.
Daan Rotterdam came with an urgent request for 2,300 orange bucket hats, destined for the European Championship 2024 and the Daan Festivals. The time pressure was high, as there was only 1.5 months to fulfil the order. Normally, RIFT wear offers a fully customised production process where customers can make choices in size, fabric, colour and design. However, due to time constraints, we had to choose a different route to still meet the demand.
To meet the tight deadline, we used an existing bucket hat from another production, so we only had to adapt the designs for both sides. Instead of having a physical sample come to the Netherlands, which would take extra time, we assessed the first sample based on photos and videos. The first design was rejected because of an undesirable shade of blue, but thanks to quick thinking, we were able to submit a new design that was to our liking. After Daan's approval, the manufacturer immediately started production of the 2,300 bucket hats.
Thanks to fast communication and the use of the fastest possible transport methods, we managed to deliver the full order four days before the deadline. As a result, Daan Rotterdam had the orange bucket hats in time for the European Championship and their festivals, allowing them to communicate their commitment and enthusiasm.
